How do I place a custom order?

How much does a custom cake cost?

There are so many factors that go into a custom cake, like the size, flavor, filling, decorations, etc. Once you have discussed all of these factors, Brennah will send you a personalized quote for your approval. 

I want to do a custom dessert table. Can you do something to this scale?

OF COURSE! We love to do dessert tables as it gives your guests so many wonderful options to chose from, which is so fun. Brennah will work with you directly to help select a variety of desserts to accommodate everyone. 

Why are your prices so high?

As a home-based baker, I operate without the advantages of a commercial kitchen, meaning all of my ingredients are sourced from local stores at retail prices rather than bulk wholesale rates. Additionally, I take great pride in crafting each baked good with care, ensuring the highest quality by using premium ingredients, which can be more costly. Unlike large-scale bakeries with industrial equipment, my process is more time-intensive, as I work with smaller mixers and ovens, often requiring twice the time to produce the same quantity. My pricing reflects the dedication, quality, and craftsmanship that go into every order.

Do you do fondant work for custom orders?

Unfortunately, Baked by Brennah does not do any fondant work. 

How do I know my custom order is confirmed?

Once you have reviewed your custom quote, a 50% non-refundable deposit is required to hold the date of your event. Your order is NOT confirmed unless you have paid this deposit.

I have an idea of how I want my desserts to look in my head, but how do I convey that to you?

The best way to make sure I know what you would like your overall product to look like is to send inspiration photos. Send as many as you would like, as that really helps me get the full scope of what you are trying to accomplish! 

I’ve had a family emergency and need to cancel my custom order. Can I get my money back?

I try to be as understanding as possible in situations like this where the unknown just happens, and I will ALWAYS try to find a solution that everyone can be happy with. At the end of the day, a custom order is something that I cannot just turn around and sell to someone else, which I ask people to try to understand as well when a situation like this occurs. 

Do you offer delivery?

Yes! There will be a charge for this, the cost of which will be dependent on where the delivery is. 

I have a serious allergy. How do you handle this being a cottage bakery?

While Baked by Brennah takes sanitation very seriously and washes all our equipment regularly, we cannot guarantee there isn’t cross contamination. If you have a life-threatening allergy, we recommend that you use caution while ordering.
